I'm Ben, an award-winning filmmaker and photographer based in the UK. I spend my days with business owners, makers, coaches and creatives across the UK and beyond, making work that actually looks and sounds like them.
Hey, I'm Ben!
I've been making films and taking photos for over ten years now, and I'm still not sure where that time went. I've created for business owners, coaches, makers, hotels, wine producers, theatre & sports. I have also spent over 10 years filming weddings all across Europe.
The thing that ties it all together is people. Most of the people I work with aren't used to being in front of a camera, and a big part of my job is making that feel normal. I'm a calm, relaxed presence on a shoot, I don't make a fuss, and my aim is to always create work that feels authentic to you.
Most of the time it's just me and a carefully selected kit, so it never feels like a film crew has taken over your place. When a project needs more hands, whether that's an editor, a sound designer or a second camera, I bring in people I've worked with for years and trust completely.
What I do
Brand films
Short films that show what you do and why people should care, without it sounding like an advert. For your website, socials, launches and pitches.
Photography
Portraits, products, food, events and behind-the-scenes. Photos you'll actually want to use, not a folder of 400 near-identical shots.
Documentary
Longer stories, told properly. Time spent with people until they forget the camera's there, which is where the good stuff happens.

The shoot
Relaxed and low-key. I'll keep things moving, keep you comfortable, and make sure we get everything we planned plus a few things we didn't.
The edit
You get finished films and photos, cut and sized for wherever they're going: your website, Instagram, ads or press.

What kind of work do you do?

Where are you based?
Just outside Salisbury in Wiltshire. I work all over the UK, and regularly around Wiltshire, Dorset, Hampshire & London.
Can you do photos & video on the same day?
Yes, and it's often the best value. I'll plan the day so we get both without you feeling like you're doing two shoots.
How much does it cost?
Every project is a bit different, so I'd rather have a quick chat first and then give you a proper quote. No pressure, no hard sell.
