Hey, I'm Ben!

I'm a filmmaker and photographer based just outside Salisbury in Wiltshire. I've been doing this for over ten years now, and I'm still not sure how that time passed!

A big part of those years has been spent filming weddings, which is where I learned the most useful skill I have: getting people who don't like being on camera to relax and just be themselves. It turns out that's exactly what businesses need too.

These days I split my time between weddings and working with businesses, brands & people. Retreat leaders, authors, milliners, hotels, wine producers, wedding planners, colleges and a youth theatre, to name a few. Every one of them was different, but the job was always the same: make something that actually looks and sounds like them.

I shoot most things solo. It keeps the attention away from the cameras and lets me be creative without a big crew getting in the way. When a project needs more, I bring in a small group of editors, sound designers & camera operators I've worked with for years.
